No. The Free plan covers your first connected user and never asks for card details. You install taskCNX from HubSpot, connect your Microsoft account, and your tasks start syncing. A card is only needed if you later upgrade to a paid plan.
Yes. The trial applies to the paid Team and Business plans, and Stripe collects a card at checkout. You are not charged until the trial ends, and cancelling before then in Manage payment means you are not billed at all. If you would rather not enter a card, stay on Free for as long as you like.
